Ten years avoiding the dentist and finally had a scale and polish

10 years of dentist phobia and I finally went!!!!
I had a scale and polish and no needles
The pain at times ouch
But look at the difference ???? Yes some of my teeth are really
Slim on the bottom. Can I do anything about that or not please
I’m chuffed with the difference after spending 10 years away from the dentist

You can get it filled in with composite. But it’s a cosmetic treatment so won’t be NHS.

Looks so much better. The next visit won’t be so bad. You can get it filled as the previous poster said but it won’t be free on the NHS. They look ok now but it depends how old you are, how they function and how do you want to look aesthetically.

i never would have thought that could be cleared up with a scale and polish. It looked like decay. Looking a million times better.

My husband has a similar issue which he's finally seeing the dentist for soon and it's a thread of hope that it could be a quick and cheap fix.

If you don’t have one already, an electric toothbrush will help you to keep on top of this. I only go to the dentist if I need a filling but noticed I was getting brown stains from coffee drinking. Proper toothbrush and decent toothpaste has made a big difference.

They look amazing! I wouldn’t worry about the gaps at all, I don’t think anyone would even notice unless you walk around like the photo!

I’ve got an issue with crowding on my lower teeth and the tiny gap between my front teeth is my talisman against it happening to the top teeth too.

Definitely use an electric toothbrush regularly, it helps much more than feels logical.

That must have been so satisfying to get rid of!
