Colin the Caterpillar’s massive smug face - AIBU to ask for the etiquette rules on this?

When a Colin the Caterpillar cake is brought into the office by or for someone whose birthday it is, what’s the general consensus regarding who gets the massive white chocolate face?

Logic dictates the birthday person, but what if, three days later, the massive white chocolate face remains untouched? Is it then a free for all?

I hate the face. I leave it for other people. It tastes like crap. I'll happily chow on his body though.

Generally though, yes, I'd let the birthday person have it and if they don't want it then it's a first come, first serve free for all.

If birthday person doesn't want Colin's ample head and face, they should chuck it like the bride does with flowers at a wedding - the catcher then has to eat it as quickly as possible while the rest try and grab it off her/him.
Let's call this the Squid Games version.
