'Light hearted' AIBU:

I'm currently watching (ok, binge watching) Married to Medicine - the version based in Atlanta, Georgia, and I'm now reading all threads with a Deep South accent and finding it really pleasurable to do so. AIBU?

Since I watch My 600lb Life all the time I greet everyone with “Hey, how y’all doing?”

From an American perspective I think it’s the worst accent to have. And I had one myself as a child but then moved away. It has connotations, unfairly, of lack of education and backwards thinking.

It's always sounded to me like an accent that you can use to throw deep shade but still sound nice as pie, maybe it appeals to my PA side 😅
