How to stop kids trespassing on private property?

Just as the title really, how can I stop kids trespassing on my private front garden/ drive?

I got back from work and found multiple kids bikes I had to remove and resist the urge to literally boot them off.

I have a ring door bell but that dosent seem to deter them.
I am thinking of ordering a big "No Trespassing Sign" from Amazon.
I am not friendly with the parents because of multiple issues involving their feral kids so I am not bothered about causing offence.

The ASB are also now ready to intervene due to constant issues.

Anyone been through a similar situation?

Lots of fake dog poos and a sprinkler?! It sounds miserable though. If there lots of bad feeling and general anti-social behaviour already then they perhaps enjoying winding you up and would find it entertaining the more you seem bothered. If that's the case I'm not sure what the answer is but I'm sorry you're having to deal with it.

What is the antisocial behaviour? Is it just dumping their bikes in your drive - which (while annoying) is hardly a big problem or are they doing something damaging/noisy/aggressive?

Are they going back to school this week? If they are, I'd say nothing and wait it out. Rain and dark will soon put them off.

And rather than a ‘No Trespassing’ sign I’d look into the legality of a sign warning that anything left on your property will be dumped and doing it.

Children aren’t likely to be deterred by a No Trespassing sign. Can you fence the front garden or if not, line your boundary with large planters to segregate it from the pavement?

The ASB is sending harassing notes, damaging property and loud music from one of the parents.

Its non stop.

I am due to speak to the ASB team tomorrow as it's with the Tenancy Enforcement Team now.

Well your problem is not bikes then really, and a No Trespassing sign isn't going to do anything at all. Do you own or rent? If you have one it might be worth asking your landlord for help with securing the boundary.

Is there absolutely no way you can move? Sounds like relations have broken down if you are having problems with the parents as well anything you do will probably just escalate things

I think I'd be tempted to empty a couple of boxes of tiny nails on your front garden OP, or if you don't want to do that, when you move the bikes, you could push a few nails in the tyres, or carry a tiny craft knife in your bag, and just poke it into a tyre or two each time you have to move them. The parents will soon get sick of kids moaning that they've got a puncture. Obviously be discreet about it.

How about that invisible fencing people use to keep their dogs within a small area?

Make it unpleasant for the kids to use the space. A fence painted with anti climb paint so that the little buggers ruin their clothes. Then their parents will get tired of buying them new ones.

I think some of the posters on this thread have never lived in the kind of area where the adults (and parents of the kids) send harassing notes and damage property of their neighbours and it shows.

If the kids clothes or bikes are damaged by OP or anything OP does the parents won't get sick of it and tell their kids to stop they will take it out on OP and the situation will just escalate.

Real dog poo would be more effective 🤣🤣

The ones that zap the dogs? She’d have to catch the kids and fit them with a zappy collar for that to work.

A high fence and gates is tie only thing that is likely to prevent them.

the kids will be at school now and it will be getting darker so not such a problem

@Trallers Iv got young kids and wouldn't want them to get scared when they are playing.

I did wonder about putting nails on the drive but I wouldn't want DH to get a puncture himself.

In Autumn and winter months you don't see any kids playing and it's amazing.

Cant believe how quick summer went just like that.
