My partner and I were getting ready to go out for dinner in London for my 38th birthday. I bought an outfit (off TikTok shop!) I’ve posted it below.
I was pleased with how I looked in it, and I’d planned it for a week or so (not knowing what the weather was going to be like). I put it on, walked in the room and he said ‘looks like you’re wearing a Mac’ ‘it looks like something your dad has made you wear because he’s made you go out for dinner’ ‘it looks like something my mum would wear’ I was really hurt and it hit my confidence, I said what did you expect I’d wear he said ‘I like tight clothing and crop tops’ I said to him that I’m 38 years old, I’m not wearing clothes like that. My body type is similar to the model - I really hit the roof because I was so annoyed at him - am I being sensitive?
