Can I afford to divorce?

Trying to get my ducks in a row to initiate divorce but need to understand if I can actually afford to house me and the 2 children, 10 and 16.
I work FT and earn 32k. Husband earns 61k. House worth 370k with equity if 116k.
Would we likely get a 50/50 split or am I likely to receive more? Neither have pensions worth mentioning. I'm worried as the cheapest 3 bed in the area is around 240/250k but I dont have enough borrowing power to afford that with 50% of the equity. I'm going to see a solicitor but just wanted to see if anyone had any advice or been in a similar situation.

Is he likely to have the kids 50/50?

This and have you trained and chosen this career or has your earning potential been impacted due to childcare?

Could you move to a cheaper/less desirable area without disrupting the kids education?

I'm in a job I fell into after working partime for years around his shifts. I imagine he'd say he wants 50/50 but can't imagine the kids would want to. Really dont want to move area as we only relocated 3 years ago and kids have finally settled where we are.

I've been with him since I was 16, he was 22. Had my first child at 18 and worked part time up until the last 2 years when i went full time. His job has odd shifts and he always wanted me to be around for the kids. I've never had the opportunity to train in anything. I've got very lucky with the job I have now and the flexibility they give me.
