Only Fans in women’s sports

watching the women’s boxing on sky one and I was shocked to see the British champion Chantelle Cameron sponsored by Only Fans, blazoned all over her top.

I am happy to be challenged, but it just feels like it flies in the face of women being taken serious. Please someone explain to me why this is a good thing for women’s sports?

I hate boxing- whether it's men or women.
But I agree that message sent out by her being sponsored by a business that is primarily concerned with women selling sex to men is a degrading one.

Presumably Ms Cameron is happy to be sponsored by Only Fans because they are paying her a lot of money to wear their branding. Professional boxing is all about the money. Always has been, always will be, and it’s naive to think otherwise,

I remember back in the day a (male) British boxer who was fighting Mike Tyson, and was expected to lose, had his sponsor's logo printed on the soles of his boots to be visible when he got KO’d,

Only Fans sponsors a lot of extreme sports like skateboarding and bmx and men too. It’s not just a sex site.

Ouch, yes, that’s an unfortunate association. When professional women in sports like football and cricket are working hard to get women’s sport taken seriously (and succeeding), the Only Fans sponsorship does strike a jarring note.

Online prostitution doesn't belong in sport.
