How do you deal with the antagonising pain that they are never coming back? It’s been nearly 4 weeks. The pain is getting worse !!!!! Much worse why?????
I can’t function
Can’t eat
Can’t sleep
Constantly thinking of him
😞
I know it’s not healthy but how do I stop? 😰😰😰😰😰

I had a similar thread recently and the advice was to be kind to yourself, keep distracted and trust that time will help.

My ex just dropped my stuff off and collected his and I’m sat here sobbing because I miss him even though it was my choice to end things. I couldn’t even look him in the eye because it was too painful.

Again? You could listen to some of the advice on your many many other threads about this.

Pain is getting worse because you are choosing to think about him. What you could probably do instead is every time you think about him, choose to redirect your thoughts to something else - find ten blue things in your immediate environment, or count your breaths, or go for a walk and see how many different varieties of birds you can find.
Or you can choose to carry on as you are and, eventually, you get sick of your own misery and will then be ready to move on. That's also a fine approach but will take longer. Your choice.
