To be worried about DD going to college in London.

DD is going into year 11; doesn’t want to do A levels or go to conventional sixth forms. She wants to go to college and I am helping her research them. Some are huge and have terrible reviews, so I am getting a bit worried about it.

Can anyone recommend good colleges in London. We are in South East London but she can travel a bit if needed.

I can't help, sorry, but I think you might get better answers if you include what your DD wants to study, rather than just "college". Catering college? Beauty college? Engineering college? Academic subjects?

Thanks. She is looking at production arts courses, also creative courses.

No teaching, health care, business, engineering, accounting,it, etc. So the selection is very limited.

Have you looked into Morley? They do foundation courses if she is considering a university degree after. I did my fine art foundation there (albeit more than 15 years ago) and they were brilliant. Could be an easy journey, depending on where in SE you are.

Many FE and Sixth form colleges offer a Btec level 3 in Performing Arts orProduction Arts or there are likes of Brit School and other PA colleges.
