Wondering if its normal?

Dd is 7 and had beaitiful, pute white baby teeth.
Her new, front teeth look really quite yellow recently. She brushes daily, Dh and I pushing her to make sure she does it for a bit longer
Ive made a dentist appointment for September

Any ideas why they'd be yellow at this age, is anyone else's?
Dh and mine still fairly white and I've never had a filling

A quick google suggests this is totally normal. It’s to do with dentin and enamel. My dc were both like this. Don’t make a thing of it, my poor ds is obsessed with having yellow teeth at 16 now, even though he doesn’t anymore .

Young New teeth have more dentine and will.look slightly yellow against still there baby teeth just keep brushing as you are I'm sure they will be ok

Adult teeth are naturally darker than baby teeth, when they come through the contrast between both sets make the adult teeth look yellower than they are. It’s completely normal, don’t worry.

Oh I see, feel a bit bad now as we've been saying she needs to make sure she brushes her teeth properly-quite a lot

Just tell her she's doing a great job and ask the dentist without her hearing. Don't let your worries run away with you!

DD did and the dentist said it was probably due to excessive antibiotic use. Which was galling as there were so many times she had pus pouring out of her ears and the GP wouldn't prescribe anything! It worried her during her early teens - fixed braces didn't help with it - but once they came off the yellowing seemed to fade and you can't see it at all now.
