Looking to order a school backpack for ds. Options are vans, Adidas, Eastpak, Nike etc.
Would these types of backpacks generally be genuine if you buy them from amazon? I once ordered an Eastpak mini from amazon and it smelled so chemical and looked not quite real.

Can anyone advise? AIBU to think some brands on Amazon may not be what they seem?

If you have bought a bag from Amazon before which you felt was a fake I’m not sure why you’d want to take the risk again. A fool and their money are soon parted springs to mind!

I've bought thousands of items from Amazon over the years and never got a fake anything.

If you get them from Amazon themselves and not a "sold by XX, fulfilled by Amazon" it should be fine but I got my son's from Sports Direct.

I don't think returning things to Amazon is any easier than returning to ASOS, mandmdirect or Argos.

I read on here that with many items, in the Amazon warehouses the fakes are stored along with the genuine ones so the Amazon picker probably won’t know!

Is it much cheaper on Amazon? I would just go elsewhere tbh
