Becasue no matter how clean I leave my house before I go (and I do) I come home to dust, webs, dead wood lice, house spiders in the bath and just general feeling of dirt so that I feel I have to clean it again hoover etc just to be able to relax which is exhausting when you’ve spent a day travelling, airport etc - I also come home and see all the maintenance my house needs, things I never get round to as single mum with full time job and kids, rooms that badly need painted, house exterior that badly needs painted weeds in front garden etc it’s just overwhelming and feels even worse when you return from being away for a couple of weeks
