The sentence is unduly lenient. You can't say it's one of the worst cases and then give 2 years. The elements of deterant and punishment as part of Sentencing seem to have been completely minimised, again.
And does the report need to go into detail about the deviant subculture around this. Identifying communities and how they operate just creates a gateway for those that want to participate. No need for the level of reporting detail.

Physical and sexual abuse of 100+ very young girls is vile, predatory behaviour which seems very likely to resume on his release. The unbelievable sentence of 2 years equates to roughly 1 week of imprisonment for each young life permanently damaged. This must be revised.

It's a form not something to sign and it does say that if you are aware that somebody has already submitted a form than there is no need to submit another one so I'm not entirely sure of the point of this?

OP, I don;t see where to sign. The link you gave sent me to a page which listed several open cases but not this one. Is there a petition or do we need to open a fresh case individually and name him.

Surely there’ll be a review of this sentence; it’s absolutely shameful.

But my God the danger online for young people is immense; I’d not be the parent of a teenager now for anything. (This culture of giving each other nude photos, for one thing. How do parents discourage it? )

I often think I’d gladly sacrifice all the benefits of the internet to ensure all this dreadful sexual crime were rendered impossible once more. On balance, surely we are all very much worse off now.

I can't see the exact offences that he has been convicted of, but he pleaded guilty, which automatically attracts a sentence reduction, and if he pleaded guilty before it went to court, it's an even further reduction.

My understanding is that the sentencing guidelines on sexual offences themselves need an overhaul. Thousands of men are found guilty of making sexuall abuse images of children (which is downloading and viewing them) and don't get a custodial sentence.

It's a freak. A good swift injection would sort it out.
