Has anyone had a bad reaction to taking Berberine? I took it for slightly high cholesterol and it helps with weight loss ( for some). I took it for a week a few weeks back and got cramps and lots of wind so stopped it. But then someone from work had similar symptoms so I thought it may have been a coincidence and it wasn't Berberine after all?
But I took one last Friday and started again with cramps that are still going on.
I'll go to the gp if it doesn't settle soon but thought I'd ask of anyone had a reaction to it? Or maybe it isn't Berberine and there's something wrong with my bowels.
