Should I spend £500 on a two night trip to Chessington or on something else?

DD and I have had the shittiest year (some of you may have seen my last thread!) and I would like to treat her for her 7th birthday in October half term. I can spend £500 on a trip and I know DD would love to go to Chessington and stay in one of the safari view rooms, as she adores animals. But before I buy, does anyone have any other ideas of what I could spend the money on? Any other trips that would come in under budget? Any ideas appreciated, thank you!

We went to chessington recently and I was fairly underwhelmed. Are the safari rooms at WM safari park a similar price? Or a night at Beekse Bergen might also be doable as it’s off season.

some places also do “feed an animal” experiences.

I don't know how it compares or if the travelling distance is greater but the Yorkshire Wildlife Park also has a similar hotel.

Where are you travelling from?
You Probably won’t spend that much time in the room and you can see the animals from the breakfast table - if that reduces the price as £500 is a lot.

The room has a mini safe and a crack the code task which reveals a chocolate inside the safe.

There is a pool and splash play inside the hotel which is nice.

In the hotel lobby they have a screen that plays different things, they do have children’s entertainment like children’s games.

The theme park is busy though but there’s other things other than the rides like the soft play.

If you have the money it’s worth it if you’d both enjoy it.
I booked a one night break but when they had the special offer with the annual Merlin pass was included - it was £450 for 2 adults and 1 child.
I live in London so it was worth it as we have used it over the summer so far a few times

Although I just had a look and you only get one day of the theme park included. Adding another day bumps up the cost.

And If it’s around Halloween it’ll be super busy.

Theres also Paultons Park which is good and a 2 night break in a hotel with a pool is £400 which includes entry for two days.

We did Legoland over night at a similar price and our kids loved it. They still talk about it as an amazing break. They'd been to the park before but they loved the rooms. For us, it was worth it.

But if you DD loves animals, have you looked at Port Lympne in Kent? Not a theme park but you can stay overnight in the safari park. Our friends raced about it.
