I do hear it’s pretty rubbish these days. I met dp 5 years ago, very straightforward. But probably wouldn’t go that route again.

I met DH on Match in 2021. My friend was on at the same time and didn’t have any joy so I think I was just lucky. I think the paid ones are a little better as you don’t get blokes on there just after causal hook ups

They’re awful. I’ve had lots of dates and hookups from the apps but never had a relationship from them. All my relationships have been organic. I hate dating apps so much.

The way I look at it, those blokes are gold because they are telling me upfront not to bother with them. It's the ones which seem totally normal at first that you need to be careful with.
Met my current boyfriend online, he was the second guy I've been on a date with. They are out there somewhere so don't give up but do approach it with a bit of humour.
