Can someone tell me what the weird TikTok lives are with women who just sit there?

There were who sat there, nothing sexy, often overweight or over made up and just seem to say hi to people and drone on about shit. I presume this makes the money somehow.?

How does it make them money? All the posts I see are either horses, people riding horses or training horses or funny cat videos but them that's all I post myself

It doesn’t matter what you do on tik tok, as long as people watch. The amount of people and length of time they watch for is what gets you paid. If they’ve wiling to watch and interact who cares if they’re not doing or saying anything? The money still comes in.

tiktok is the best paid content creator platform, and depending on the plan you’re on can be quite rewarding

I know some people get paid by promoting products but I've never understood how people make money on some of what they post.

I know the ones you mean. So cringe, they are basically sitting around hoping to be sent Tiktok gifts. That's how money is made on live.

I usually scroll past the live channels but the ones I have seen for a couple of minutes are things like:

• Chinese people queuing to buy a piece of jiggly tofu whilst the chef cuts it into huge white blocks
• A South East Asian family sleeping in their yard whist a water mill pumps away
• a woman cooking in her kitchen in real time

I can imagine the women you referring to get loads of creepy men messaging them.

TikTok pay them through their creator programmes. Lives are paid through virtual gifts from people viewing

I thought people just put their videos on there like they do on Facebook or Instagram.

People get paid on IG, Facebook, YouTube they all have a creator fund of sorts with different requirements to enter it.

I'm on panda TikTok at the moment and don't even care if it's AI but the creators who I am concerned for are the what I eat in a day. Seriously overweight usually women earning money by shock value eating. Some have thousands it not tens of thousands of likes and horrific trolling.
