To think this is unacceptable from M&S?!

I ordered a vase from them and this is how it was shipped. No bubble wrap or protection, just a piece of paper. It arrived smashed to pieces and completely wrecked

They’ve said to just send it back, but at a minimum they need to review their packaging standard surely?!

I can't believe that! You might expect that if it had been sent from Vinted, but a professional retailer!

I’m genuinely baffled! Literally nothing in there to protect it at all. I don’t know what they expected. It looked like it was the box it arrived in, that just had a postage label stuck on it!

I would assume that this is not their standard practice and that something has gone wrong with packaging your order this time.

I ordered some tins of baby formula from Boots recently…zero packaging in the cardboard box resulting in dented tins that I had to return in store for a refund. So just work work work for me. You’d think someone at head office would flag to put some bubblewrap in there given it’s £15 a tin and pure loss for them, but no.

That's how a Christmas beauty gift was delivered to me, loose in a box. The packaging looked like it had been run over and there was no way I could gift it to my mum. I swapped it in store and the lady on the till said they have lots of glass and fragile packaging ruined

I've had a couple of broken items from m n s. On the other end of the scale my Boots order arrived in 2 separate boxed-one with the actual order and a big box containing loads of packing and a small free sachet underneath it all!
