Aibu people who take larger shops’ trolleys into smaller shops

Visited a retail park with about 30 shops. Three of these have trolleys - a supermarket, Iceland and B&M.

People push their trolleys around the small shops, despite many of them having signs, people ignore them. The trolleys block aisles etc.

Why can’t people either shop before going to a shop with trolleys or if they drove, put shopping in the car and return to the shops?

Very unusual. I’ve never seen that. People use the trolleys for the shop that provides them and not for others where I live.

If they're in my way minus their owner I just shove them out of the way. I tend not to be overly gentle with my words if the owners actually are there.

I don't really care what shop owns them, it's just that they're in my way.

I've never seen this happen.

How intriguing? Which small shops do you have on your retail park?

Really unusual, I’ve never seen that. Don’t the trolleys lock if they’ve left a certain boundary?

UhOhRatPoo · 01/08/2026 19:58

Never ever seen that. And I have visited many a retail park. What shops are they in?! Do you live in one of those places
where people also go to Tesco in their jammies?

Holland and Barrett, Card Factory, Boots, a couple of charity shops, a nail bar, CEX to name a few.
