To ask if anyone knows what these blemishes could be on my daughter?

Last week my daughter had a big blemish appear on her back. After a few days, my husband took her to the pharmacy, the pharmacist wasn’t really sure what it was, said it could be a bit of eczema or something and to put some hydrocortisone cream on it for the next few days and see if it helped.

However yesterday afternoon I noticed more, smaller patches of the same thing appearing on her torso and back!

Typically now it’s the weekend but we plan on taking her to the drs on Monday, but does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Looks as if it’s molluscom contagiousum.

There’s no dot in the middle, the photos aren’t great, they’re more flat patches rather than round bumps if that makes sense?

I agree, are the scaly, what happens when you put moisturiser on them? Just to add pityriasis is dry skin/the start of a bit of eczema. Had they been playing in sand/water?

I woudnt go by what anyone says here it’s impossible to assess a rash in a photo . You could go back to a different pharmacy

Thank you! After researching this online, I think this is what it could be. It fits the bill in terms of look and the fact it started as one big patch and now smaller patches.

Husband is going to take her to a different pharmacy now.

Nothing happens when we put moisturiser on unfortunately.

They haven’t been playing in sand/ water here but have been at nursery I think

Pityriasis or (especially if she’s had a virus or infection in the last few weeks) guttate psoriasis would be my bet.
