Is it normal for Evri to deliver at 11:05pm?

Had a notification earlier to say my package will be delivered between 1pm and 3pm. 4 mins ago sounded like someone was trying to bang my front door down. Went to open it and nobody was there and my parcel was outside. Had to get out of bed to see who it was! Surely this is way too late?

It happens here without the knocking!

unusual but Evri and other couriers pay their delivery people per package so he/she was probably rushing to get as much cash that day as possible

I had one turn up at 5.50am a few weeks ago.
Fortunately it was at work where its manned 24/7 and the security know me well enough to take and keep it safe for me.

How funny that this thread has come on here. I am expecting a package today, and it's said 'with the courier' since 3pm, and when I click on 'tracking' it's saying 'arriving today!' But it's nearly half eleven at night LOL. I don't think it's coming now. (It still says 'arriving today.') Mine is JPD though. I don't think it's coming today somehow!

Either Evri did deliver it late @neo6 or a neighbour took it in, and dropped it off on your doorstep, knocked the door, and legged it.
