Is this a thing men just say? I’m dating after divorce and i was flattered with the first guy…suspicious the second. Am I being unreasonable to think it’s just a line, however vehemently they say it?

Thought this was another Andy Burnham thread. Was coming to say same.

Yep. It’s taken me nearly 34 years to believe my DH when he tells me that I’m beautiful and that he loves me now more than the day he met me. For years I was suspicious but - whether he’s worn me down, got really good at acting - I’ve finally decided to believe him.

Tend to think men find the woman in front of them, the one that is showing some interest in them, to be the most attractive woman they’ve ever met… until that moment. But I’m a jaded and cynical old bag!
