I love hydrangeas.
I met a woman last week who doesn't actually like hydrangeas and was shocked. What is not to like? I know my sister in law doesn't like them but I thought was just her being her.

You do realise this discussion isn’t for their benefit, surely? This thread is for our enjoyment, not theirs.

Are straight women not allowed to enjoy looking at / thinking about men we find sexually attractive? Why do we have to deny ourselves that pleasure?

I’m glad you enjoy gardening but it doesn’t make you morally or intellectually superior to someone who enjoys whiling away five minutes on looking at attractive men with no shirts on. If you don’t get any pleasure from physically attractive men, that’s completely fine, but no need to try to guilt-trip other women about it. We’re allowed to experience attraction. It’s a normal human impulse.

I also did some gardening yesterday. Then I went for a run. Then I relaxed with a book. Then I whiled away a happy few minutes reminiscing with a friend via WhatsApp before the football about a French footballer we both fancied the pants off in the 90s. It was a pleasant interlude in my day.
