AIBU to ask for ideas finding English books near Dol de Bretagne?

I’m in search of English novels/books

ive run out, brought 3 to france with me thinking that would keep me going for 3 weeks & I’ve read them all 🙈

im near Dol de Bretagne, that area

I’m travelling by bike - thus only bring 3 due to weight

to ask the world of men how to fix this problem? 😉

Or bookshops most have an English section. Or second hand shops.

Would it be easier to download a reading app and but a digital book or 2 to read?

I'd look at putting the kindle app on your phone maybe? Hard copy books are much nicer to read, but given the cycling weight issue and the language aspect this might be a time for kindle convenience!

I’ve looked at getting Amazon to deliver, but it’s after I leave this place I’m staying and the next place is a chain hotel

i I think campsite is a good shout - I can go for a cycle and look out for campsites on Google maps on the way

You can normally get them in charity shops abroad

you can but many people really don't want to read a book on such a small screen

You need a kindle, same size as a book, but much thinner and you can store hundreds and hundreds of books. Mine uses the same charger as my phone and is perfect for a book worm. I read 9 books on my holiday last week.

i looked for English selling book shops on ai and found a shop in Rennes that sells just English language books, second hand also.

i took my last remaining book and the shop own actually gave me discount on two second hand books

mine was a new Nikki Smith book she’d just sold so was pleased to replace.

now to cycle back
