Mainly posting for Traffic.
There is a famous Parkour Group based in Brighton called Storror. They had a massive following on SM, and my son and I would view the videos together over a few years now.
They are really quite popular among teen boys and seemed positive in many ways. People would watch for their rapport as well as ther quite amazing (if a little deviant) tricks.
Anyway, one of their core members was sentenced yesterday for CSAM (3000 images, 1 year suspended sentence). On top of that, it seems like a penchant for young, barely legal women and covering up allegations of abuse has been present in at least some members and tolerated or embraced by others for years.
The reason I am posting is because there are a lot of young people, especially boys, who know and follow this group and have been following the story. It's been some of their first experience of someone they "know" being revealed as a predator and sadly, many of them are not getting the right messages from what has occurred in various ways. Particularly when it comes to the wider group and their enabling of Powell.
I guess, I'm suggesting that people who know their kids are into the group (particularly boys) speak to them about it if it is age appropriate to do so.
