AIBU to raise inconsistent nursery feedback with the manager?

Hi there, I am a mum (38y) with a 3.5 y old son who attends a nursery that is part of a big chain. The chain thrive themselves on providing high quality feedback. However since he's transitioned to the pre-school room (7 months), the feedback from staff has been inconsistent and vague. I've addressed this regularly with staff in the room rather than management however AIBU now to address my concerns with the nursery managers?
I really like the staff and i can see they work so hard, but they constantly say we'll give feedback to what he's been up to over the week via the app and i wait for this and they don't. When i ask in person what he's been up to, they'll ask me to wait for the feedback via the app as they can't deliver it in person. I wondered what others experiences are in their child's nursery settings and whether it is similar. At times, i don't even get proper feedback as to his meals/toileting. I pay a lot of money to send him there as it is a private nursery setting.

Just wanted others experiences.

That’s really poor id expect a basic verbal feedback- no issues, ate all his dinner etc and then updates re development on the app too. Do you get any written reports of progress?
id feedback to management but not name anyone in particular. Just say you would like some verbal feedback and for staff to
use the app.
