Sniffing on a teams meeting

The guy taking a meeting that I’m currently stuck on (obviously not partaking in) is sniffing. Constantly.

this is a huge problem for me, I can’t stand to hear it.

AIBU if I ‘lose connection’ 😩😩😩

How annoying. Mind you, I also hate public nose blowing.

Oooh, I’d rather a couple of seconds of grossness to constant sniffing.

plus, in this instance he could mute, come off screen and then return.

You must be on a call with my ex boss. Part of the reason I left, bad enough in the office but constantly sniffing (big gurgling sounds 🤢) on teams calls turned my stomach

Gross, but thank goodness it’s not an in person meeting.

In the old days you'd have caught his cold, so at least you only have to hearit now.
Aren't there tools to mute certain people now?

Mute him and turn on auto generated captions if you need the content from the call.

Have a wifi issue if you don't really need to be on the call anyway.

i have a colleague that has no intention of speaking yet but leaves her mic on for the whole meeting during which she clears her throat at least once every five mins.

i started muting her but when she does want to speak and gets flustered shes muted, she just unmutes and leaves it live again and doesn’t speak just clear her throat loudly.

irritates the living hell out of me. I told her to please clear her throat on mute.
she says yes. and then doesnt.

i’ve had enough but the meeting chair wont do anything so i just look mad. soooo annoying.

Oh man I could NOT be dealing with that. Why are so many people so fucking gross?

i swear sometimes they make it teams just because they can
