To think that the phrase 'i suppose so' has been all but eradicated? 🤔

Was watching classic holby city from around 2004 or something - havent heard the phrase in FOREVER

I feel like the youngsters say 'i guess so' now instead, which feels like an americanism, although it might not be

I certainly say it. ‘I guess so’ would feel like cosplaying Americanness.

I don't recall hearing any young English people saying 'I guess so'. Not sure if they say 'I suppose so'.

My kids say I guess so. I'm not sure they've ever said I suppose so. I would still say I suppose so, well I think I would. Now I'm actually thinking about it I'm not sure
