AIBU to think he's cheating?

He's being secretive with his phone - turning it upside down, turning it away from me when I'm near him, quickly jumping from one app to another.

He's finding excuses to go out the house in an evening. And showers when he gets back - it has been hot, but I still find it suspicious.

He's recently stopped syncing his photos to the family vault, though claims he hasn't.

What should I do before I confront him?

AIBU to be suspicious?

Fwiw, he's recently been made redundant so there have been some mood changes, but could easily be related to that.

Excuses to go out in the evening & then showers, either affair or seeing an exploited woman who he pays.

Can you speak to him directly about this?

Trust your gut and are you married?

Cherchez la femme.

Sounds like he's got something to hide...

Yes married.

Doubt it's paid sex.

Where does he say he's going in the evenings? If it's to see a friend or work-related, can you check his story somehow?

Also, does he go in the car? Can you check the mileage to see if it's the same every time? Or get one of those GPS tracker tags and hide it in the car somewhere to see where he goes.

I'd want more evidence before I confronted him. Keep you cards close to your chest until you're sure of what's going on.

Thanks. No he usually gets public transport, only drives a couple of times. He says he's going out with a friend (named friend), not always the same one. I don't know them and can't check.

I don't know his access code to his phone, so can't check that either
