I need to tidy the front garden so I can cut the grass. It wasn't done last weekend because it was raining here, so I HAVE to do it today, but I'm dreading it. I've been putting it off all day. I just know the second I step outside, nextdoor are going to come out and either stand and stare at me whilst pretending they're doing something in their car/garden or complain about things I have no control over (yesterday it was ants near my raspberry plants).
It's constant, just complaint after complaint after complaint, all of which are investigated by the HA and then closed down as no further action, but still, dealing with it all is getting to me atm.
Due to a complaint from Friday, DD lost her temper and chopped down half of the shrubs/raspberries, so I can't even quickly run out to cut the grass and then hide back inside. I need to tidy away the branches DD cut and left on the lawn (because they came out and started staring at her, so she didn't feel comfortable finishing off her work and just abandoned it).
I was outside for less than a minute yesterday to collect a garden tool DD left out there, and they were shouting about ants near the raspberries and how I need to do something about them, so no doubt there will be another email from the HA on Monday and another inspection to check there are no ants, which I will need to take time off work for.
AIBU to ask for some tips on dealing with/ignoring difficult neighbours. Tips on how to get away with murder would also be welcome
