Where is the AI that looks out for women ?

Ive been subject very misogynistic comments tonight by an acquaintance of a friend and asked ChatGPT how to manage it and got such a man centric response I’m really disappointed. Even fecking AI is on the man’s side. It essentially told me to pipe down or say a nice soft response to the secure comment I heard We really are on our own here to speak up for women aren’t we ? A 65 year old man I met today for the first time ever commented on something and his comment was such that I found it disturbing and distasteful but AI suggested I digest it and make a “gentle” comment if it comes up again. I despair.

What did it say?

Also the response is not necessarily wrong. What if it suggested a pithy remark and you were punched in response?

As an aside I loathe the forum and social media posts where posters claim to have "gently suggested" things - "I gently suggested that my 15 year old daughter was overweight and should only eat lettuce until she looks more acceptable", "I gently suggested that my sister was bringing up her children incorrectly and should be more like me", "I gently suggested my husband should not have any of the desert I'd served to guests as he's looking porky" ...

Forum posts are full of OPs who describe themselves "gently suggesting" and other OPs who claim people "screamed" long monologues at them completely out of the blue.

"I was in the supermarket helping myself to 27 packets of Pombears and a woman came up to me and started screaming that the Pombears are for everyone and I shouldn't take 27 packets because she wanted some for her dinner party!"

"I was in the supermarket to buy Pombears for my dinner party guests and saw a woman loading all the remaining packets - around 27 - into her trolley, I gently suggested...

All the gently suggesting and screaming people are the same people aren't they? And they're probably not screaming or speaking gently (although I imagine speaking gently could be very irritating and appear patronising in a lot of the contexts).

I'm not super AI friendly so realise what I am about to post is part sceptical and part through a filter due a friend's AI use in a way that perhaps aligns with what OP wants (and my memory).

Instead of using a standard address anything and everything chat AI she made two characters using Kindroid. There are other sites and apps like this I am sure, but this was the one I was shown. One was Devil On My Shoulder, the other Angel OMS. One had character definitions fed in that was wary, cynical, safety oriented. The other was more a push yourself, go for it 'character'.

They are for her the ultimate safe space to rehearse. It helps strip away the self-doubt when you're overthinking every little thing. She said she used it to analyse messaging for patterns. Like, if a guy is love-bombing or using manipulative language, an AI might spot the trend faster than you can when you're caught up in the flattery. It acts as a third party filter when your own judgment might be clouded by attraction or loneliness. I found what she was doing fascinating, but I already do similar things in my head I suppose and there are costs to AI: the app is paid I think, you can fool yourself and get dragged into something delusional and there’s the whole environmental impact side.
