To say that hazelnut Twix is very wrong!

I tried one yesterday, having been favourably impressed by the white chocolate version, which is surprisingly good.

It’s so wrong! Hazelnut doesn’t go with caramel, it tastes like a Kinder product gone awry, and has no caramel/biscuit Twixy je ne sais quois. I also hate the green packaging.

No doubt it will go down the same route as the coffee Pepsi.

Totally agree. This is unacceptable.

But I miss the "Topic". That was hazelnut deliciousness and much mourned.

Oh yes! That was my fave in a Christmas selection box/net stocking thing.

Oh I loved Topic! Soft on the outside and slightly crunch inside.

That's taking us back a bit. Those proper net stockings with the cardboard backing!

DP came home with one to share last night.

I made the mistake of looking at the ingredients. No hazlenut, only hazlenut flavouring, mostly palm oil and sugar, very little chocolate.

I love a twix and I love hazelnut so was excited to try this and what a let down it was!!

I just can’t accept the hazelnut version as a true Twix.

I always read ingredients (that’s why I’ve given myself a lifetime ban on Reese’s products) but Mars is my preferred brand of terrible chocolate and I really wanted to know how they had captured both the mighty hazelnut/chocolate combo and the essence of Twix. Turns out they had not done so!

There was coffee Pepsi? Where was I when this happened?

Not terrible. But not one to buy again.

I never saw this either. It reminds me of an article I read years ago about a Museum of Failed Products - caffeinated beer was one of them.

Not tried them but the hazelnut kitkats are very nice.

I'm a Farm Food shopper, it's the only supermarket around here(on foot) and I've learnt to love it and all the weird and wonderfull limited edition flavours that rock up. I love the hazelnut twix, mango pepsie and coffee KitKats . Gingerbread Doritos not so much.

Ooh yes and the advert "What has a hazelnut in every bite?". ... we'd shout 'Squirrel shit!' at the telly and get told off by our mum.
