To seek the best readable, and factual, book on A I!

Hello, I wondered if I could ask for recommendations, I tried posting this on a book forum, but didn’t get any luck! I wonder if any of the readers here recommend the best book available at the moment on the rise of AI, ideally something readable, not something which you need a degree in computing or mathematics to understand! Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

I've read Karen Hao - Empire of AI; and Eliezer Yudkowsky and Nate Soares - If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies. They're both very readable but really quite scary.

You might be looking for something a bit more optimistic though.

It's from 2019, but I enjoyed You Look Like a Thing and I Love You: How Artificial Intelligence Works and Why It's Making the World a Weirder Place, by Janelle Shane.
