AIBU DH using nicotine pouches with DS

I recently found out that DS17 has been using nicotine pouches and has been sharing them with DH.

DH says most of DS’s friends vape, pouches are far less harmful, and he’d rather DS used these than started vaping or got into other habits. DS says the same and insists “everyone” his age is vaping.

I’m absolutely furious that DH is normalising nicotine to our son. Am I being unreasonable?

I’m just so surprised, as DS has been doing brilliantly in his A-levels so far, taking four very demanding subjects, and this is the last sort of thing I ever expected from him.

What actions should I take?

I would do nothing and be thankful that he isn't smoking weed.

Nicotine is highly harmful

I guess it depends on your source. Just do some research. Not all agree so maybe it will make you feel better or worse? Thought alternate perspectives could assist you! Best of luck!
