To think Brooklyn Beckham doesn’t need to take his anger out on his sister Harper - will they ever make up?

I follow Victoria and David on their Instagrams so I just saw it’s Harper’s 15th birthday today. VB posted lovely pictures including one with Brooklyn and Harley when she was little. It was so sweet. DB didn’t post any of Brooklyn. It must break VB’s heart that her eldest child could be so cold and has cut them all off. Brooklyn today has posted a picture of his hot sauce, no mention of his little sister’s birthday. Whatever his issue with his parents is, he should be ashamed of himself to do this to his sister. Unless of course he has wished her a happy birthday in private which I highly doubt.

Does anyone think they’ll ever make up as a family or is that it? Can families really put silent treatment / ostracism behind them after a year or many years even and move on?

@kate6754 oh do calm down! Read my previous post where I explained and not that I needed to btw! You know you don’t have to comment if you’re not interested in the thread title, just scroll on by please! It’s not difficult…

Me calm down? You’re the one starting threads about people you don’t know worrying and hoping they’ve wished a sibling a happy birthday? It’s unhinged.

pouletvous · 10/07/2026 17:55

Not everything on social media is real life and social media is not real.

maybe brooklyn sent a gift and chatted to his sis on facetime ?

I wouldnt dream of uploading a photo of my family members on their birthday

It’s perfectly normal. It’s called pop culture

Discussing a new film or a genuine scandal is pop culture, “oooh I do hope a nepo baby has wished another nepo baby happy birthday, I don’t know them at all but I bet he hasn’t” is utterly bizarre.

You didn't explain 😂you just said you saw it, and then had such strong feelings about it that you needed to make a post about it on here. It is, honestly, really weird.

Absolutely not what pop culture is, but nice try.

@AnonymityAnonymity no not overly invested at all! I just happened to see V &B’s birthday posts on instagram while chilling out after work in my garden. A friend I met today for lunch is in a similar situation with her adult DS. She actually commented on the many celebrities who are in the same boat, we briefly discussed estrangement and how sometimes families can move on and make up but sadly not always.

What happened with her DS?

You sound quite sheltered. Celeb gossip has always been a thing - I mean you’re clearly not serious, you can’t possibly not realise some people like talking about celebrities. And it’s nothing like unhinged

“Nice try”?! My definition of pop culture has to satisfy you, does it?

wellwhatdoyou · 10/07/2026 18:01

I can’t say I’m bothered either way but I don’t know why some people get so wound up at people talking about it.

Oliveoy · 10/07/2026 18:04

Backedoffhackedoff · 10/07/2026 17:50

I’ve got plenty of real worries too, don’t you worry

I wasn't talking to you? If you're sock puppeting on a thread about the Beckhams that's a bit tragic

wellwhatdoyou · 10/07/2026 18:05

This thread is so peevish and irritable: you can tell it is hot.

PurpleDisco · 10/07/2026 18:07

@Backedoffhackedoff I think @kate6754 and @Sinescure sound very highly strung and wound up over a thread they’re not at all interested in but continue to post anyway! 🤣 how utterly unhinged is that!

It’s quite hard to sock puppet now tbh.

if you think someone is doing that report the post as MN can see easily enough.

Okiedokie123 · 10/07/2026 18:19

Realistically what in your opinion would put an end to this drama and they would start speaking again?
If they stop posting the ins and outs of their lives online. Then the media would stop making stuff up and people like you would stop speculating. Problem largely solved.

It doesn’t matter, my heads full of it too

Nopuedeser · 10/07/2026 18:23

I have never wished a single family member happy birthday on social media. I didn’t realise that doing so was the mark of a good relationship.

Yeah, you not wishing your family happy happy birthday on social media is EXACTLY the same as the Beckhams.

SweepSqueaks · 10/07/2026 18:33

I’d have to have a gun to my head to wish a fifteen year old happy birthday on social media, never mind one who was my own sister. I think it’s a really weird thing to do.

PurpleDisco · 10/07/2026 18:34

@Differentforgirls it started when my friends DS met his new GF. From the start she was very easily offended about everything, can’t take a joke whatsoever and is also very controlling. Things deteriorated when my friend asked her DS if he really wanted a life with her like that etc. He stopped calling round and now they’re no contact whatsoever and he’s only been with GF a year.

Sorry, you’ve lost me. Brooklyn Beckham should be wishing her happy birthday on social media because he’s a Beckham?

Who said he should be? No wonder you’re lost, you don’t seem aligned with the discussion at all

That’s so awful. Thank you for sharing. I have two boys and that would devastate me. I hope things work out for her ❤️
