AIBU to question how parenting time is counted across school days?

I maybe dim so bear with me. My dc goes to his dad's 10 nights a month. This includes 2 weeknights after school and 1 weekend starting Saturday morning. Great. I obviously have more parenting time. However I have realised there are 8 weekend days a month and im doing 6 which is no problem. This means my ex does before school which is maybe 1 hour and after school maybe 3 hours but only actually has 2 full days once a month. That's not alot is it at all? I mean weekdays theyre at school 6 hours a day and custody is based off nights spent at other parents but most of that time theyre at school?

Ask him to have them more then?

Counted by whom? For the purpose of CMS, I believe it goes by nights spent, but who else would be looking at the division?

He doesn't want too and neither do me or ds. He thinks he's does 50/50 and woe betide anyone who tells him he doesnt. I just think 2 full days with your child a month is nothing.

I dont want more money. I just think looking at nights is the easier way to do it obviously but it doesn't really capture who does what

Well 10 nights a month, no matter what the content of them, is clearly only ⅓, so not 50:50. Is his maths generally bad?

As per other poster, either way you look at it there’s 30 nights per month. He’s doing 10. It’s not 50/50

And one weekend in 4 is 1/4

It might matter for holiday child care. Over the 6 weeks holiday the max he’d had his child is between 14 and 16 nights depending on how the pattern fell out of roughly 44

Hes does on average 3 to 4 weeks of 13 weeks holidays id say.
