I am trying to find anyone with any similar experience. I have a blood spot on my breast and below it theres a blue vein runs across which ‘dents’ in. I have been referred to the breast clinic but has anyone had this happen before? Im going down a rabbit hold (see picture of blood dot) i originally thought it was a menstrual thing but its just there. It use to come and go but has been there about 6-8months now

ps I did put this in womens health but I’m getting no replies :( so guess the only AIBU question would be : is ‘AIBU thinking it could be cancer’

Please someone give me any of their experience if any?

Bumping this for you. Although I suggest you rename the thread to something more specific. If you have been referred to a breast clinic my advice is it could be lots of things and you should not worry and go and get it checked out.

I had a blood dot like that, for years, just below my navel. Was easily removed by a beautician. Never came back.

myglowupera · 09/07/2026 19:23

I’ve got two of these blood dots on my breast.

I’ve had one on my breast for years.

I have quite a few of these and 2 under my breast. It's good they're looking into it but it's most likely nothing to worry about.

I had a mole that ticked every skin cancer sign you can have and that turned out to be nothing sinister. Cancer isn't the most likely scenario, it can be easy to forget that when you're referred for something.

Is the blood dot not just a cherry angioma? Completely harmless.

pinkpony88 · 09/07/2026 21:25

I’ve had one of these for many years. I think it’s a cherry angioma.

polkadotpixie · 09/07/2026 21:46

I’ve got several of these on my boobs, apparently they are common during hormonal shifts so during or after pregnancy and during puberty and Perimenopause

ByRoseBiscuit · 09/07/2026 21:49

Was also going to say it looks like a cherry angioma as well. I have lots of little red dots like this and never really given it a thought! All appeared since peri started!

I’ve had o e just below my breast for as long as I can remember. It’s never changed at all.
