and stand again ?

At the going rate that could bag ten million pounds.

If he is being paid to resign, is it valid ?

He's a prostitute, he doesn't do anything without getting paid.

Planesmistakenforstars · 08/07/2026 13:51

I'm sure he's being paid for a lot of things, undeclared, uninvestigated and otherwise, as I'm sure most of the Reform/Restore/Regurgitate/Residual grifting set are. But this seems more like his own arrogant idea.

However it would be odd for a serial grifter to pass up a chance to make money ?

I can see him having been paid to fuck off. I doubt anyone paid for him to take this kind of risk.

I don't know that he'd take money to stand on a stage next to a bin and be unsure of the result. He has everything else up for sale, but probably not his fragile ego.

Mmm, the potential to look a twat is just too high.

He's been paid less than £100 to repeat IRA slogans. Arguably standing next to a bin is a step up

I think the distinction is he didn't know those were IRA slogans. He does know this is a bin.

Because he's rubbish ?

I'm here all week!

You do have to wonder though, how arrogant is he to not have considered that he can't force other parties to run candidates?
