There's some hilarious conspiracy stuff out there. Apparently Portugal were definitely going to win because of numerology and because The Simpsons predicted it. Then when they went out the story changed to the mysterious "them" having got wind of how many people had seen their plans so they changed the winner to confound them.

Now it's definitely going to be England because it's 60 years since '66 so that gives you a 666 and clearly that's absolutely not a coincidence and very meaningful.
