Watching Animal Kingdom and can’t get over the height errors

im watching animal kingdom for the first time and it’s annoying me how the height differences are so inaccurate. Like how is young Smirf 5ft 10 when smirf is so tiny? And young Baz is so tiny when older Baz is tall. And you Pope is so tall but old Pope is 5ft 8. I know it’s just a show but it’s really grating me!

AIBU for this to wind me up? (Ps - I know it’s just a TV show, this post is meant in jest)

I guess there’s an element of getting the right actor for the job rather than just the best fit looks wise but you’d think with all the talent available to choose from they could be a little more discerning wouldn’t you?!

It's a pretty poor remake of the Australian version in my opinion.

Im glad I didn't notice this when I was watching it 🤣

I didn't notice the height discrepancies while I was watching it.

Also didn't realise at the time that several of the main characters are played by non-Americans (Brits, an Australian etc).

I didn’t know there was an Australian version. Will have to give that a go!
