AIBu to be really disgusted about this, but not surprised?

I know that councils are underfunded in respect of their SEN responsibilities, and it won't come as a surprise to parents of children with SEN to have suspicions confirmed that local authority delays and failures are entirely deliberate and motivated solely by a wish to save money. But what sort of cold-hearted bastard do you have to be to laugh at the plight of disabled children and desperate parents?

It’s not a ‘wish’, it’s a ‘need’ due to catastrophic levels of underfunding. In my area it’s awful, it costs them less overall as they literally wait for parents to either drop out of the process, pay themselves, or go to court.

its a systemic issue, not a one twat issue. Fucking terrible system.
