To ask how to take my mind off waiting for scan results?

I’m waiting for some fairly important scan results. It was a private scan, nothing cancer related thank goodness. The scan was at 8:40 this morning. They said anywhere from a few hours to three business days for the results to be emailed to me, as I self referred for the scan.

How can I take my mind off waiting for the results?! Every single email has my heart pounding. I’ve waited so long for these results that I can’t focus on anything.

In the same boat, my DS is having an MRI tomorrow, anxiously waited since last week.

i am trying to busy myself with other things and watch mind numbing TV - Below Deck has been a good one!

Do some exercise or go out for days out if you can / aren’t at work. I find time passes quicker out of the house!

I literally cannot concentrate on anything. This is doing my head in
