AIBU - Neighbours washing car at 5:30am

AIBU to think this is ridiculous?

I know it’s hot and we are all up early, but when you live in close proximity to other people surely this just takes the piss?

Said neighbours have also been known to do loud DIY in their garden at 6am on a weekend, they also have approx 4 cars and a camper for their ONE parking space

Washing a car doesn't usually make noise. Does it. Could of asked them to do yours

It does when you use a jet washer…

7.30 7days a week our neighbour washed his car.
Even the day after he bought it brand new. Clattering of buckets and jet wash..
Bastard.

Jet washer at 05:30 is unreasonable.
Washing with a bucket and sponge would be fine.

You know, it would be perfectly reasonable for you to stick your head out of the window at 5.30am, call them selfish inconsiderate bastards and tell them to STFU and do it later

No doubt that it’s the same type of neighbour who would be out washing his car and watering his whole garden if there was a hosepipe ban. We know the type.

On the very limited street parking across the road that is about 4 spaces long (intended for about 4 other houses).

This doesn’t affect me but it does when they block our driveway to unload their vehicle when there are inevitably other cars already parked in the street parking spaces 🫠

They sound pretty inconsiderate, excessive car washing people are just annoying.

Totally unreadable of them. Washing a car is hardly essential.

Why? Just why?
I don’t question the time but why every day??? Is it some sort of challenge for a charity? ( clutching at straws)

We used to live opposite one of those! Sometimes even washed it twice a day. Always soapy water, rinse, dry then buff. Vacuumed too. Every day for 7 years.

Yeah there’s a bloke that spends every Saturday washing, cleaning the insides and generally making his three cars look immaculate.

i wouldn’t mind but we all have allocated parking and he does it in the middle of the bloody parking lot.

let him get on with it. ask him to do yours if you must
