AIBU to resent the mentality

I hate heat and hate summer and I like winter

The heat has been so bad that at work Ive felt ill exhausted and a bit sick but just pushed through and kept working yet people who dont seem bothered just expecting me to get on with it

I hate working in this weather and I would rather have rain or winter its horrible

Ofcourse they are expecting you to get on with it, you’re paid to work!

I get Im paid for work but with such extreme temperatures my performance might drop a bit

Everyone is in the same boat - so crack on!

I’m not great in the heat but it’s my responsibility to mitigate it as much as possible. I’ve had my neck fan on all day, cooling towel in my bag if I needed it and gallons of ice cold water in my insulated flask. Tonight I had a cool shower and am now sat with an arc chill blanket and long ice pack thingy to help me recover from the heat and sleep better.

so even though its making me ill i should just continue until i pass out?
