No really. But the coolest room in the house is 29 degrees, then 30, upstairs is 33.

I love the sun but this is bit much; feel so lazy and unproductive

Ooo I felt like doing that this morning!
Seriously though have you tried a neck fan? School has been hotter than satans armpit today and I’ve had my neck fan on all day and been reasonably comfortable and more or less able to concentrate on my work.

Grateful to have been in cool office all day

You can but beware of potential consequences. Also its pretty antisocial for all your neighbours to sit there with your engine running too.

"Drivers seeking to cool down by sitting in stationary vehicles with their air-con are running the risk of a fine for breaking vehicle emissions laws, the RAC is warning.
As temperatures peak this week – with a strong chance previous records for June will be beaten, according to the Met Office – many people will be looking for creative ways to keep cool. But remaining in a vehicle with its engine idling causes air pollution and is punishable with a fine of up to £110 for people who refuse to switch off after being asked."

There were plenty of drivers parked up in the shade at my local woodland park today with their engines idling enjoying the air-con, as I walked past dripping in sweat with my clothes stuck to me 🥵
