Are they trying to play into the loony left sandals brigade trope busy stuffing their faces with lentils?

So far today we’ve had his hair, his height, his land tax (that’s definitely happening 🤔) and now his shoes. I’m not a leftie but I really think these people need to find a hobby and let him get on with this leadership contest. It’s like being back in year 9 when the bitchy girls had something to say about your school bag and PE joggers. 🤦‍♀️ Just nasty bullies with nothing intelligent to say.

He has JUST been sworn as MP. The leadership contest is yet to happen. But there is such a frenzy about him!

As far as I can see, ‘Jesus sandals’ are just, well, leather sandals. Which, whatever one thinks of Mr Burnham, is sensible footwear for the current weather.

Unless he’s nicked the bits of slipper donated to Prüm Abbey by Pepin the Short, that would be a tad eccentric

Well call me cynical but aren't they just writing about the only differences we are likely to notice? Next week the deck chairs will be arranged by a cheeky northern chappie in sandals; enjoy and see if you can spot the difference
