AIBU - Is it really dangerous? Cryolipolysis / fat freezing - help!

I am posting for traffic here as need to make a decision. I made an appointment for this for my upper arms for tomorrow, the list of potential side effects is alarming, but so are the list of potential side effects of paracetamol. Has anyone ever done this? What is it like? Has anyone ever heard of anyone having complications?
I was half expecting it to be a sort of cooling massage/wrap of some sort and hoping it would deliver even temporary results. It is for my upper arms because I am successfully losing weight steadily everywhere else but there with diet and exercise and I thought it would be worth trying. I used to always gain weight first on my hips and thighs and that was always where it was last to come off. Now I gain weight there and round the middle and on my upper arms, I’m making decent progress on every other part but my arms which has made me really self conscious! Though now having read more about cryolipolysis considering cancelling the appointment as even though it sounds much more likely it would be effective it also sounds a little scary.
So the AIBU is AIBU to cancel and forego deposit because not worth the risk or should I keep the appointment because it’s really pretty safe?

Google Linda Evangelista

I've not heard of Linda Evangelista before, thats brutal!

I was coming to say i've had it done years ago, didnt make a jot iota of difference, absolute waste of money. Cancel and forgo the deposit.

I’ve considered this for very stubborn pockets of inner thigh fat that will not shift even when I am super slim elsewhere. Knowing my luck I’d end up like Linda Evangelista so I’m unlikely to do it but I do wonder if I’ll be brave enough to try it.

Linda looks beautiful again now.

I don’t know what this is but I wouldn’t do it.

I am surprised Ms. Evangelista had any fat to freeze in the first place. Maybe that was the problem?

If you are super slim then I’d learn to love those if I were you. I’m slim ish with a wobbly belly. My only other approach would be exercise but mainly I just don’t sit down in a bikini.

Oh dear Lord, just googled Linda Evangelista, and I’d bet she went somewhere much more upmarket than where I am, so that’s it decided!!
