Lost urge to spend bonus

I am fortunate to have a job which usually pays an annual bonus every May, between £2/3k after tax. I always tell myself I am going to treat myself and go to a big shopping centre near me to buy some nice bits for my wardrobe etc. But this year I feel a bit ‘meh’ and as if I don’t feel like doing so would give me much joy. I know I should spend some of the money, I am sensible and will save a good chunk. But just can’t bring myself to find the urge to do so.

Has anyone else ever suddenly felt disinterested and as if it would be better spent on experiences perhaps?

Btw I know there’s worst problems to have, it’s just a question as I don’t have too many people close I can discuss it with :)

Save it until there is something you do want! No point spending for the sake of it.

It's not even a problem. Stick it in a savings account until youre ready to spend it. Job done. Stop thinking about it.

Really why do you need to spend any? If there’s nothing you want you should save / invest it. Then you’ll have it when you do have the urge to splurge.
