AIBU to feel disturbed by cruel social media comments about women?

I hate social media. I need to use Instagram and Facebook for work, but here are a selection of comments on a news story about a female celebrity. The commenters haven't even read the story properly to begin with, so that qualifies it just a mini mini bit, but in what world is this OK to be allowed to be published? Sorry for repeating it here however I wanted to talk about it. I feel sad for these posters who have horrible lives and personalities. It's never justified.

Me Me Me Me Meeeeeeeeeee Get over Yourself Mutton

Just when I thought this talentless and unattractive old tart couldn’t be more desperate enough for attention. I never liked her anyways, or her ex-husband

Old lady hips and annoying personality. She'll soon be going down south

Some people are vile on social media - there are plenty of over 16s that I’d happily ban from it. I guess in the past these are the type of things people might have said in their own home, but on social media it’s in black and white for all to see.

This is disgraceful.
