Can anyone recommend a well priced medical health spa in continental europe?

Hi everyone

I'd love to go to a wellness/medical spa for say 7 days but it would need to be somewhere reasonably priced, so Austria Switzerland etc would be absolutely out of the question.

ive got bad menopause symptoms _ achey joints, tiredness, awful sleep, overweight and just feeling a bit old and flat (im 58) ....have lost my join de vivre a bit. (have tried a few diff HRTs but they had bad side effects so would like to try something more natural to give me a boost).

Im perhaps interested in massages, accupuncture, healing waters or mud but absolutely open to suggestions.

My budget is 'as cheap as poss for a great experience' but prob couldn't afford more than £700 max for a week, but definitely preferably less. I'd be flying out of Dublin or Belfast.

I know this isn't an AIBU but thought there may be more traffic in AIBU. thanks for your help.

I can't help with spas, It sounds a lovely idea though. I've been thinking about going to one for the day near my home.
I can recommend a supplement though, 5Htp (hydroxytryptophan,) seen it recommended on here once and after struggling with insomnia/grief/low mood after my mum died it has really helped with my mood and sleep. It's basically nature's antidepressant. I also can't take HRT and am post meno.

Maybe look at Bucharest or other areas of Eastern Europe. Likely to be cheaper

Ahh thanks. I've tried to check out spas in Romania but it was difficult as too much choice....so I thought I'd put a post up seeking recommendations

Thanks anyway

I didn't know medical spas were a thing

Are you doing exercise and taking any supplements?

Take a look at Tunisia. I booked a solo all inclusive holiday and turned it into a spa break as treatments were so cheap there. I had a 2 hour one every day except one for £20 a day.
